STORM SUMMARY 1-26-2016

Light and drizzle occurred off and on after 4pm on 1-25. This activity diminished
to some flurries mixed with sleet and ended 2-4am on 1-26. Temperatures at
midnight were in the upper 30s. By dawn on the 1-26 readings were sub freezing.
There wasn’t a lot of rainfall but many surfaces were still moist as air and pavement
Temps began to slip below freezing. My recommendation was for folks to treat
surfaces to avoid any slick surfaces for the am commute. West winds were strong
and gusty overnight so some surfaces did dry before freezing had a chance to ice
up. Some flurries occurred late afternoon and early evening with trace amounts.
