A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY RAN FROM 5AM TO-
NOON FOR THE ARE. Light freezing rain mixed with some sleet initially spread
into the area from southwest to northeast between 3-5am. Air temperatures were
31-32 degrees at the onset while the sub surface temps ran around 31 degrees.
Even though the air temperature nudged above freezing 6-7 am, icing still occurred

A QUICK PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW MOVED THROUGH BETWEEN 4-7PM.
THE ACTUAL SNOWFALL LASTED UNDER 90 MINUTES MOST AREAS.
AMOUNTS WERE VERY LIGHT BUT WITH SURFACES VERY COLD THE
LITTLE SNOW THAT FELL ACCUMULATED ON SURFACES REQUIRING
SALTING. THE SECOND PHASE CAME WHEN LIGHT RAIN AND
DRIZZLE SPREAD INTO THE AREA 4-5AM. EVEN THOUGH AIR
