Rain mixed with sleet and isolated thunderstorms developed 4-6am.
Rain even changed to heavy wet snow over parts of the area with the
Heaviest accumulations in Lake County where some plowing was

3 inches as of 7am. There were some slushy buildups elsewhere.

Light snow developed 3-5am on the 2st till 7-9am. The wind was gusting
45-55 mph through 3-4 pm. Light snow did more blowing across surfaces
Than accumulating. This slickened up surfaces for the am commute which
required salting.
